A Confession
I walked so that others can run,
Said by those who never flinched a mile for anyone.
“Speak your truth,” they say—
But do you even understand the words I lay?
Cosmic lies, heavy eyes,
Circulating above the lovers’ guile.
Some say, “It’s not what they meant.”
Some say, “It’s really the thing that is unseen.”
Clashes are somewhere, not just anywhere.
When I speak, I feel the veils shatter everywhere.
