They feel, you feel, I feel
Seven years were far, they said,
But I thought this moment had failed.
Lightning was crumbling everywhere,
Still no one seemed scared.
What sorcery is this?
The once-possessed don’t feel shame.
How do we touch every being
When life feels so lame?
They say life is boring—
But those are the ones silently mourning.
I meddled with everyone who touched my heart
But they never respected my lovely arms.
High or low,
Sad or glow,
Chicks or hicks—
Why were they all so rude to me?
Even though sanity is my forte,
I still missed showing it at full pace.
Life never asked me to stop,
So I never asked myself a lot.
Let’s dance in the rain without vain,
To see life from one point,
To see life from someone else’s point.
I felt a shallowness creeping
From hollow minds—
But never mind.
I’m still going to make it.
